About The Event
Malcolm is leading this walk up towards Steeraway before cutting across to the ridge path up through Limekiln Wood.
This is a particularly good spot to catch a glimpse of deer resting among the trees, although cannot be guaranteed.
On reaching the top of the wood bordering Maddocks Hill, we return to Wellington via the golf course.
Approx. 4.5 miles, may be muddy in places so appropriate footwear required.
