Led by Malcolm, this walk will start as usual at Wellington Leisure Centre at 2 pm.  

The walk will go to the top of The Ercall using one of the lesser used paths, returning via Ercall Lane, then Hampton Hill and the Bowring.   

The ascent has a few short steep slopes but is actually a more gradual climb that the traditional main route.

Due to recent weather conditions, there is a good chance that it will be muddy in places, so good boots or walking shoes are essential.

You may also find a walking pole useful.
